What is gepard animal?

The Gepard (Acinonyx jubatus) is also known as the cheetah and is a large, slender, and agile big cat. It is mainly found in Africa but small populations also exist in Iran. The Gepard is the fastest land animal and can run up to a speed of 70 miles per hour (110 kilometers per hour). It has a unique black spots on its golden yellow fur, usually a single black line runs from its inner corner of the eyes to the mouth, which is a distinctive characteristic of this big cat. The ears of the cheetah are small and rounded and have a unique folded pattern, and it has a very long tail that helps in balancing and turning while running at a high speed. Gepards are solitary animals and survive on a diet of small to medium-sized prey such as impalas, gazelles, and springboks. Due to the loss of their natural habitat, poaching, and hunting, they are currently classified as vulnerable species, and less than 7,000 of them remain in the wild.
